Its almost that day of the year. Dressing up has been one of my favorite things to do since I was a baby, I swear I used to have the craziest halloween costumes, my mom used to put together the most amazing looks and sometimes she even sew them herself! Unlike last year, that I didn’t dress up and simply went to Manhattan to stare and observe everyone  on the streets,  I decided to put together some costumes for different parties I have this year.

This is my first of two Halloween posts for the weekend. I got together with my great friend and amazing make up artist Shawn, and together we came up with this character inspired by so many old character movies. A crackled lady, one that is slowly turning into gold with an androgynous feel. Its such an easy costume idea as it basically involves a romper or shirt with high waisted shorts, a bow tied to the neck, long oversized coat and a killer make up. Its actually an every day look for me if we take out the make up, but thats exactly why I love it.   You can also just do red lips with some blood in the face and you’re Dracula in a matter of seconds.

Anyways, what are you dressing up as for halloween?  just wait til you see tomorrows post!
