Ahhh, I didnt win the Lord and Taylor competition but its totally ok. Of course I was kind of down at first but on my way back on the subway I thought you know what, just think about what’s next, move forward. Sometimes you win, sometimes you dont but, I mean, you just got to keep moving. Just make sure you take something good out of every experience you have, whether its good or bad. I am still overwhelmed and grateful that you guys helped me so much, I actually feel so happy I have the most amazing readers ever (: The funny thing about the contest is that the winner was the last one voted on facebook, weird as hell huh.. Anyways, there were so many good things I could get from this exepreince. I met a couple of lovely people.. the in-house stylist for L&T from Fifth Avenue was really really kind. The model I chose was genuinely the sweetest girl ever. (hey Rowan, if you read this thank you so much) And I also met a couple of other contestants who were so nice to me. I also got a $250 gift card from Lord & Taylor, which I plan to spend in make-up.. Yeah for the first time ever Im gonna put fancy stuff on my face.
Anyways, too much about it. I hope you like this outfit, I put it together a couple of weeks ago and wasnt sure if posting or not. I’ve been wearing too many leggings lately, haven’t I. I would appreciate to know your thoughts though, am I being too repetitive?
The following days I will take as many pictures as I can (weather is gonna be perf). I just have gotten loads of inspiration that I plan to share over here.

Ahh , no gane la competencia de Lord& Taylor pero la verdad que todo bien. Para serles sincera estuve un poquito triste al comienzo por no obtener la beca pero en el camino de regreso en el subway dije, ya…. no pienses mas solo  aprovecha lo bueno de la experiencia y  piensa en lo que sigue (: Aun estoy impresionada y agradecida por todos los votos que tuve! No saben como aprecio que me hayan apoyado y la verdad es que lo que mas contenta me pone es saber que ustedes los quienes me leen son tan increíbles. En fin, lo chistoso es que la ganadora era la ultima en las votaciones en Facebook.. raro no? pero bueno. Me lleve un par de cosas buenas con esta experiencia. No solo el haber quedado finalista y un voucher de $250 de Lord & Taylor (que pienso gastar solo en maquillaje) pero también haber conocido a varias personas super buenas. La estilista de Lord and Taylor de Fifth Avenue fue lindísima, y la modelo que escogí para desfilar mi look era demasiado dulce. También conocí a un par de estudiantes que competían también, buenísima onda.
Espero que les guste el outfit que hice hace unas semanas. No estaba segura si postearlo por que ya he estado usando demasiadas leggings y no quiero repetir mucho… Me gustaría saber su opinión!
Voy a tomar varias fotos estos próximos dias por que me he inspirado bastante y el clima esta buenaso así que posteare varios looks.
