As you can see, once again, I changed my hair color. But this time I decided to stay away from the bright red, which you know I love, and change it up for a more for a neutral look. Before I started working with Aveda, my hair used to be uneven, with noticeable root growth that I couldn’t control. After months of traveling, and sadly neglecting my hair, I decided to go for a fresh new look. FOURTEENJAY salon and co-owner and celebrity colorist David Adams fixed it all up, per usual, and colored my hair with Aveda color creating a new Eclipting look – exactly the way I wanted it. Thank god for David and Aveda! I love that my hair looks shinier and feels healthier than ever. If you want to learn the process keep reading!

The result blew my mind. After David colored my hair using Aveda’s Eclipting technique, I now have blonder locks yet the roots are my natural shade. Essentially, David blended my natural brown into dark auburn red and then into an ashier blonde. I am so happy because I wanted something more more neutral and less orangey. I even feel more inspired to get dressed because I feel some colors look good with my hair now.

And… I also have to share with you a new product that I highly recommend. It’s called the Aveda Shampure Thermal Dry Conditioner and I have to tell you, it has made my life so much easier. It’s a conditioning spray that protects your hair from heat styling and conditions it at the same time! My hair actually has a lot of frizz (more than you might think) so this makes it softer and manageable when I use my blow dryer or flat iron.
