Happy Halloween everyone 🙂 I wanted to dress up as something but this hurricane thing has been very rare and I genuinely didnt feel like getting creative on a costume or anything like that. I planned to go to thrift stores but there is no public transportation, the subways will be down for at least 5 days. It’s so crazy how 11 million people that used the public transportation can’t go to work or school if its far away from their homes. thats why school has been cancelled and I imagine it will be for a week.  I wanted to thank you for your lovely comments on my last post. I was safe on my apartment.  Everything feels so awkward now, not quite sure how to describe it. It was kind of scary hearing all the wind during the storm last night and failing to see something through the window because there was no light. Manhattan never looked so dark from here. I went to walk around my area in Williamsburg this morning and saw trees and lamp posts that fell and crashed on the streets during the night. The mood on the streets was very different, everyone was very quiet but I could see sadness their faces. I think what killed me was sitting at the waterfront and seeing city under an enormous grey cloud. Its sad to see the news and to know that some of my friends dont have power or that their apartments are flooded. Anyways, enough of this rambling. I’m sure everything will get better in a couple of weeks.

.

As I said, I dont think I will dress up but Im definitely channeling some halloween vibes with this orange and black ensemble. I love this jacket I got from She Inside to death, its definitely one of my favorites now. And this hat is amazing, you can get one at Educate Elevate.
I hope you are having a great halloween either going trick or treating, spending it with friends, watching a scary movie or at a party. Im sure your costumes are amazing 🙂
