Aw man I love this outfit. I think it has a dark vibe due to the dark red lipstick with the necklaces and the studded bra, and also the chunky boots. I don’t know.. I seriously love bohemian accents so much. I always get asked if im going to post boho looks again in the blog,. The thing is I’ve been always drawn to that style but I also love other styles as well and its the atmosphere that influences me to wear it more or less often.
I mean the visual richness in New York is stimulating but it inspires me in two opposite ways. Sometimes it motivates me to try more complex and creative combinations involving different textures and adding more depth to the outfit. Sometimes the atmosphere is so filling (culturally and aesthetically) that I feel way too overwhelmed and experience the need to get dressed with minimalist pieces and muted colors cause like.. its too much to handle.
In Peru its kind of different. The atmosphere feels more calm and in my case I feel more connected to nature and as a result bohemian elements inspire me the most. Also the lifestyle I have here is much more relaxed, Im enjoying my surroundings and myself and doing things I didn’t have time to before. Capitalism and consumerism is way less evident as well. It feels like another aspect of my style is stimulate and I want to throw on bohemian pieces and pay attention to other kind of details.. hand made accessories, for instance.
