August Blogger Interview
How would you describe your style?
My style ideas are always changing so my outfits are always different but i guess I will always have a vintage twist to each of my outfits. I love vintage pieces because they are quite often unique and I just love having a bit of a ‘different’ look. For a short answer, I’ve been told that my style is ‘Chic but comfortable’ so i guess that means nice but not trying too hard =)
In my life i plan to spend most of my time in Australia but will also like to spend a year or so each in NY, england and Bali (my home away from home!)
What kind of music you like the most?
Lots of different types but quite a bit of older songs from the 60s or 70s
Oh so many! but i guess generally people who are having fun with their lives and other bloggers!
Again from so much! Just from everyday things like music, tv, people in the streets etc. I find a lot of inspiration in vintage pieces and find it so easy and natural to build an outfit with an amazing piece!
Not really no. Maybe I have but just can’t remember which is good =) I don’t think I would let something like that get to me. I change my clothes everyday but it doesn’t change me anyway (god, I feel like such a cliche! hah)
just to be still having fun and not miserable in a job/situation I dislike. I seem to be always moving and changing and I’m happy so far
Local Thrift Stores mostly. Today i loved my outfit and i realised that it only cost me around $30 including my boots, bag and jewellery. No wonder i love thrift stores
What’s your super power?
Hmmm, I’m not very super. If i had a super power I wish i could control plants. How cool would that be, you could just make your own modern tree house and everything. Oh the possibilities!
Boots! I just love boots! I have so many but I could never have enough
What’s a trend you’re loving right now?
I’ve been drawn towards trends from the 90s recently. Maybe because i’ve been watching too many episodes of ‘friends’?
What’s in your wardrobe you can’t live without?
clothes, doi! But on a serious note…. my vintage leather boots. Even though they are heeled I always find myself wearing them everyday as if they weren’t
I want to say something inspirational or smart here but all i can think of is ‘these pretzels are making me thirsty’ from seinfeld! haha I failed at this question
I talk to my dog like its human way too much, i really need to stop
just hanging out with Luke (BF). I once shopped in my free time but now shopping has kind of become this thing between fun and work. I still love it though
I don’t really have a typical day. Since I’ve been back from Indonesia (2 weeks ago) I have not had anything close to a routine.
But a little list of things I do during a normal “working week” (which hasn’t occured for over a month now!) are shopping for vintage pieces, shooting each piece, editing the photos and then uploading them and their write up onto my ebay vintage clothing store. Sounds like not much but each of these things takes near to a day. I also try to hang out with my friends and always spend a lot of chilling out time with Luke.
