It’s been a while since I posted a cocktail look / more formal attire! Well technically not entirely formal since I added a denim jacket to cut the whole black look, but you get the idea. This is my take on an all black party outfit. You can tell there’s two different vibes by just adding or taking out a denim piece. I would wear the jacket for dinner with girlfriends or a more relaxed event and would wear this to a cocktail party without the jacket. The main thing about this outfit and what I love the most is the silhouette, textures and accessories. Sometimes you can just play around with textures and create a cool ensemble in the same color if there is a prominent silhouette… basically a ballerina, I know, but its just a classic for me and you can’t beat a classic. Giving off some Courtney Love vibes as well but the pulled back bun and cute bow made the whole look a bit more polished. I added a grommet belt to give it some edge and my new Dior bag (isn’t she lovely) to finish the look.
