It’s no news I’m a sucker for coffee… .I always wake up and love me a good freshly home-made coffee and literally can’t go on through the day without my first morning cup. I mean, when your first coffee is good, the rest of the day is good and Café Bustelo is one of my favorites for that. Cafe Bustelo is actually the first coffee I tried when I moved to the US! I remember my first coffee excursion. Looking through the coffee aisle, Bustelo caught my attention because it is Latin inspired, and I wanted a coffee that made me feel closer to home. We always have a big can of Bustelo sitting on our kitchen now!
So anyways, when Café Bustelo offered the amazing opportunity to partner with them and share with you some great news that involved a scholarship, it was a no brainer. I was so excited!
Café Bustelo is offering an incredible scholarship for Hispanic students living in the US. “El Café del Futuro” scholarship is an essay contest for students of Latino descent living in the U.S. in partnership with HACU (Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities). The deadline to enter is May 26th of 2017. To enter you can submit an essay describing how your Hispanic heritage, family and community has inspired and motivated you to obtain a college degree and how you plan to give back to your community.
This speaks so close to my heart. I moved to the US to study from abroad, and my Hispanic heritage has had such a strong impact in my success J I’m sure you guys would do amazing if you enter. Here is the application link, and the Official Rules can be found here.
Wishing you the best of lucks!!!! I absolutely love this initiative!
