So excited to share my experience as the Maybelline New York Beauty Correspondent for NYFW! I’ve been a fan of the brand ever since I lived in Peru (me, my mom and sister grew up loving all the makeup) so honestly it was a dream to get full access to see the makeup of their shows backstage and front row.

My fashion week essentials were the usual: coffee, sunglasses, my rings and lots of makeup. The Colossal Spider Mascara is unreal, I never thought my eyelashes could get this crazy big. Im not kidding, theres some outfit posts coming soon where I was wearing this and you’ll go nuts. I also love their Color Sensational The Loaded Bolds lipstick in Raging Raisin that I discovered backstage, it’s the perfect dark wine shade (will be available in June btw).

This one was ethereal. The backstage was so hectic but I’m glad we could see closely what the makeup was about because it had so many details

Models looked like ice queens with a very luminous skin and wine stained cheeks, which were created by using the raging red lipstick. Yes, that’s right, lipstick as blush. I’ve been trying this myself and I swear it actually looks amazing because the cheeks also get a glow.

The look was finished with the coolest snowflake effect on the lashes.

And heres me, messing around with Maybelline New York backstage before the show began.

The collection was a bloody dream to say the least. So sophisticated and unique with a lush combination of fabrics: crepe, silk, lace and fringed knits. Colors won my heart as it was all about nudes, whites and black. Basically the only colors we’ll need next fall.

OPENING CEREMONY

One of the shows I loved the most was Opening Ceremony. We all know they are crazy cool and always kill the game.

The sweatshirts. So bloody good.

DAILY RECAP-Day5

The ultimate look was very futuristic and the girls looked like from outer space. The look was clearly inspired by Blade Runner and some of the looks were even enhanced with galactic effects with some glitter. I was particularly obsessed with their ever glowing skin though

These are some of the looks I liked the most. How about someone gets me all the clothes please.

Naeem Khan or more like renaissance taken to the next level.

To be honest, this was my favorite beauty look of NYFW. The Elizabethan makeup and hair were literally out of this world. How I wish we could see this on the streets!

Eyebrows on fleek.

The look was a very romantic take on the renaissance, concentrating in the lips with that “Aged wine” shade (absolutely fav). I also really like how they balanced the lips with strong eyebrows.

The looks were screaming Queen Elizabeth with some of the most breathtaking dresses I’ve ever seen.

Some streetstyle photos outside one of the shows. I was wearing Maybelline’s Vivid Matte Liquid lipstick in Rebel Red and a Recto coat via W Concept.

Last but not least, I went to the Maybelline NY party with my sister and cousin and was able to meet some of the MNY model icons.

Felt so tiny next to these babes but they were so nice they didn’t make me feel shy at all.
