Sephora inside JCPenney – Mini Make Over

Spring is just around the corner so I’ve been all about make up as of lately.  We already know mesmerizing glowy looks are the latest trend so I’ve been wanting to find the right products to ensure I get a dewy, natural fresh look. I went to Sephora inside JCPenney a few weeks back and I got a mini makeover with one of their education managers. Honestly I learned so much about new products and what works better for my skin and left with the prettiest make up look, as well as a lot of new tips I’ve been putting to practice.

We went for the Glow Magic holographic look as I wanted a shimmery finish. So we focused on the cheeks and cheekbones rather than going for a heavier make up look. Sometimes natural is just the best option when you are rushing out and I actually needed some tips and tricks for those days when I only have a few seconds to do my make up.

The look can totally be amp’d up with heavier eyeliner and lip colors, but this is such an easy approach for natural, glowing skin for all ages. It’s trendy but easy to wear, and made me feel youthful and so natural.

First we tried the new Ole Henriksen Banana Bright eye cream to prep under my eyes. If you love banana powder (like me) then you must try this. It literally brightened my under eyes before adding concealer.

Then we added some Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist for that extra moisture which was quite refreshing. Next, we used the Sephora Collection Bright Future concealer and the Fenty Beauty Invisimatte blotting powder to set it all up. We contoured with the Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Amber which is actually an exclusive at Sephora inside JCPenney. I never thought I could just use one single product to do my entire contouring (cheekbones and forehead all together).

After that we added some eye shadow using the Sephora Collection Holographic face & cheek palette and the Kat Von D Shade + Light Glimmer Eye Contour palette. For highlighting we used the same holographic palette and the Fenty Beauty Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in Confetti. It’s a gorgeous shine and it lightened up my skin from within by adding that perfect glow to my cheekbones.
