Its been a cool minute or two since I wore these shorts again. I definitely needed some new prints so I could come up with easy outfits like this and not feel too repetitive. Because thats what this is, an easy outfit where I essentially put together my most worn pieces. Seriously the jacket and shorts have stuck with me for a while now, and I just go back to them all the time. The shorts are so baggy but thats the whole point. I could wear them high waisted with a belt or low waisted for a slouchy boyfriend look and it also works because the fabric is so soft. I’m so lucky I found them just like this in a vintage store, someone clearly had mad skills on diy and cut these in the most perfect way possible. I wonder why she got rid of them.
On an unrelated note, I’ve been listening to Russian Circles’ Station album lately (boyfriend bought it a couple of years ago). Its one of those albums I always go back to and it makes me feel so good. Particularly this song in repeat. Honestly it almost makes me cry every goddamn time. After the first couple of minutes it might get a little heavy, so I warn you!

Hace tiempo que no usaba estos shorts… necesitaba prints nuevos para volver a mis looks de siempre sin sentirme repetitiva. Jamas me cansare de usar estos shorts de jean con esta biker jacket aunque tengan mil años en mi closet. Los shorts son super sueltos pero ese es el punto. Los puedo usar a la cintura con una correa o a la cadera para un look suelto tipo boyfriend y funciona igual de bien por que la tela es bien suave. Tuve suerte al encontrarlos tal cual. Aparentemente la dueña anterior sabia como cortar ropa. Me pregunto por que se deshizo de ellos. En fin, ultimamente he estado escuchando el album Station de Russian Circles que mi chico compro hace años y al que siempre regreso. Esta cancion es la que mas escucho en particular por que es demasiado hermosa. Despues de un par de minutos se puede poner un poco intensa asi que les advierto de antemano 🙂
