Back in the city, back to my daily routine. So many outfit posts coming this week so I will be updating the blog more constantly. This look is essentially my favorite summer combo, a little romper, a backpack, a hat and sometimes a blazer in case it gets chilly in the late afternoon. I have been into rompers as of lately because I never realized how goddamn practical they are. Its like the sartorial gods heard me and understood the struggle of wearing little mini dresses. Specially in a city where you move around all day. Trust me, little mini dresses might look really cute and all (I know some of you prefer them over rompers), but there is always a moment during the day where everyone can see your entire life under that dress because of weather malfunctions. So there comes the romper, basically same but different. A similar type of piece (short, cute print, and probably fitted somewhere in the body) but they don’t let you down when there’s a rush of air your body can’t handle. This one im wearing is so good because it looks like those vintage 90’s dresses I always buy but its a romper and oh its from Asos and its for sale too. You’re welcome. De vuelta en Nueva York, de vuelta a mi rutina de siempre. Se vienen tantos looks esta semana asi que estar updateando el blog seguido. Este look es basicamente mi combinacion favorita de verano, un romper, una mochila, un sombrero y a veces un blazer por si es que se enfria en la tarde/noche. He estado un poco obsesionada con rompers ultimamente por que no me habia percatado lo practicos que son. Es como si los dioses de la moda me hubiesen escuchado y entendido que los vestiditos aveces son un poco catastroficos, sobretodo cuando vives en una ciudad en la que corres de aqui para alla. No les miento, los vestiditos pueden ser bellos y todo (muchos preferimos vestidos que rompers) pero siempre hay un momento en el dia en que todos pueden ver tu alma entera por que el viento decidio jugar en tu contra. Asi que los rompers son mi nueva salvacion… basicamente lo mismo pero distinto. Es un estilo similar, son cortos, pueden tener prints bellos pero no te van a defraudar cuando el clima decide volverse loco. El que uso en este post me encanta por que tiene una onda parecida a los vestiditos noventeros vintage que siempre me compro. Lo mejor es que esta de super oferta en Asos (shipping gratis). Hay muchisimos mas online asi que les he dejado mis favoritos mas arriba en el widget. Que tengan un lindo lunes!
