VELVET AND SEQUINS.

This ones a bit old, I wore it before the heavy snow started hitting New York. I went to see an exhibition and wanted to be comfortable yet not too casual.

Velvet blazer- Vintage

 I love to dress down elegant pieces with very down to earth shoes so I threw my docs with this perfect sequin dress and velvet blazer ensemble.  I had the chance to visit Nanette Lepores showroom a while ago and took this brilliant dress/top with me. I definitely plan to wear it with heels and something more sophisticate for a special occasion. It would even be the perfect NYE dress to be honest. Here I wore some black shorts underneath but a body con mini works too.

Este look es un poco viejo, lo use hace un tiempo antes de que comience a nevar en Nueva York. Iba a ir a ver una exhibicion a un museo y queria estar comoda pero no tan casual, asi que me puse mis docs encima de este vestido y blazer de terciopelo. Tuve la oportunidad de ir al showroom de Nanette Lepore (diseñadora de NY) y pude llevarme esta belleza de lentejuelas. Me encanta, ustedes saben que amo todo lo que brilla y es negro. Quiero usarlo en ocasiones especiales tambien con tacos y algo mas sutil. Incluso seria el vestido perfecto para año nuevo. Aca lo use con shorts negros debajo pero tambien quedaria bien con una mini negra.
