Shoes – Chucks

I’ve been looking for a plaid set for so long. Its such an easy combo to put together, you just need a basic top and decide whether to dress it up or down with shoes. This look was totally dressed down with the chucks, I wanted to get a casual feel because its something I wore to hang in the city this weekend. But there’s so many more ways to wear a printed set…this could also look great with some heeled boots and a white shirt, channeling some Sherlock Holmes vibes instead. Its so easy to wear the same outfit and give it a different vibe with accessories or different basics 🙂

This plaid set is vintage and one of a kind, so I’m sharing a few other sets I found online for you guys to shop below. Would totally totally get the four to be honest, they are all so different and would be so cool to style.

FOUR FAVORITE SETS

1. 6397 Lapel set – Blazer & Pants : very similar to this one but in darker tones which I actually think could be even cooler. Love plaid in red and blue, and this would be so good with a band tee and docs!

2. Topshop Tartan set – Blazer & Pants : grey set perfect for a dapper inspired look. I would wear this one with a lace bralette, chains and some chunky boots, sleek hairstyle and round sunnies. Sexy gangster vibes, pretty much.

3. Robert Rodrigues plaid set – Blouse & pants : This is so so pretty! blouses are also good to be worn as open cardigans and I would totally wear the blouse unbuttoned with a white crop top or even tied up in the waist.

4. Topshop stripe set – Blazer & Pants : and of course stripes. Stripes are more dressy than plaid so you can dress this set down with a vintage t-shirt or a plain white tee and some bold red lips… this would also look amazing with a turtleneck in winter.
