The classic summer combo when its too hot to exist but you don’t want to walk around naked. I swear a cape is my best friend when it comes to comfort but keeping an extra edge. Well, not talking about a literal cape but maxi dresses worn as one. Just make sure its a button up and you can wear it as a cardigan too. I love it when they come with a print (florals in particular) and have a little cinch on the waist for an extra feminine touch. I actually plan to keep using them on the winter with a leather jacket on top.
Anyways, its almost fashion week and I’m actually stressing out a little because I know it will be crazy, not only because I’ll be running around all day but because the city will be packed with so many people from all around the globe and it will be almost harder to walk (as if it wasn’t hard already). El look clasico de verano cuando hace demasiado calor pero quiero caminar sin mostrar mucho. Les juro que las capas son lo mejor para ese tipo de dias… o bueno no especificamente una capa si no un vestido con botones usado como capa. Le dan un toque distinto al look tipico aburrido de shorts y crops y al mismo tiempo mas comodidad. Mis favoritos son los que tienen prints y un poco de entalle a la cintura lo que lo hace un toque mas femenino. Planeo seguir usandolas en invierno, quedaria super bien con una casaca encima como de biker y jeans. En fin, es casi Fashion week y ya me estoy estresando un poco por que va a haber demasiado caos, no solo por que voy a parar corriendo de aqui para alla si no por que Nueva York se llena demasiado y es incluso dificil caminar por la calle.
