Thigh high boots… we will see these a lot in fall and winter and honestly I love the idea. I got these McQ babies and at first I was somehow skeptical because I thought I would run out of ideas to wear them (they can be a a little bit intimidating) but now every time I put them on I end up getting inspiration for my next outfit. One of my favorites with thigh high booties is an oversized t-shirt… any random big tee that covers you up as a dress works. I throw it on with some shorts underneath (here I went for hot pants, although denim shorts would work too) and a jacket on top. This jacket is really soft which is why it doesn’t look like your typical bulky denim jacket, its from She In and I think its one of those jackets that could pass as a vintage one because of the distressed look! Totally recommend.
Anyways, I also added a skinny scarf to the outfit, attempting to give the illusion of wearing a turtleneck (without actually wearing one) and I love the idea. Will definitely do this more often.
Hope you had a great weekend! It was my birthday and I did so many fun things, including a Sigur Ros concert which literally blew my mind and seeing some old friends.

Botas arriba de la rodilla… las vamos a ver bastante este otoño e invierno y la verdad es que amo la idea. Al comienzo estaba un poco esceptica por que pense que se me acabarian las ideas de como usarlas (pueden ser un poco intimidantes) pero cada vez que me las pongo termino con inspiracion para mi proximo outfit. Uno de mis favoritos es usarlas con un t-shirt oversized que sea casi como un vestido. Cualquier t-shirt grande funciona si me pongo unos shorts abajo (aca use un hotpant pero un short de jean tambien funciona) y una chaqueta encima. Esta de denim es de She In y me encanta por que es super suave entonces no queda tan ancha y tiene roturas que la hacen parecer vintage. Totalmente recomendable si buscan una chaqueta de jean comoda.
En fin, me puse una bufanda encima delgadita que da la ilusion de estar usando un cuello de tortuga y me encanta como quedo! probablemente haga esto mas seguido. En fin, espero que hayan tenido un lindo fin de semana, el mio fue bello por que recibi mi cumpleaños viendo a Sigur Ros y luego celebrando con unos amigos.
