What to wear for a cocktail party is one of the most frequent questions I get! So today I’m sharing this outfit I wore for a cocktail party during summer (could work for a fancy dinner too). When it comes to dressing up for an occassion I like to step out of my comfort zone. I literally take full advantage and wear those pieces I love to death but haven’t had the chance to wear yet! I just have a thing for sequins in general and love how much of a statement piece they are. Even more because they are actually more versatile than we think. This one can be dressed down with a basic white t-shirt and a green parka for a casual dinner or an oversized sweater and some thigh high boots!
Also, the shoes are basically what I’m all about at the moment…loving anything velvet on my feet. And I mean it because I’ve been getting so many velvet shoes lately specially for fall where I plan to wear velvet shoes with socks/ tights! Anyways, let me know if you’d like to see more looks for particular occasions!

Cuando se trata de vestirme para una ocasion me gusta salir de mi zona de comfort y literalmente aprovecho para usar esas prendas que me encantan pero jamas he usado. Este look lo use para un coctel que tuve este verano, hace unas semanas. Siempre me han gustado las lentejuelas pero de hecho es un poco complicado usarlas a diario jaja, asi que aproveche para usarlas este dia mas elegante. Otra forma de usar una falda de este estilo en climas mas frios y hacerla mas casual seria con un tshirt blanco simple y una parka verde, o hasta un sweater grande y botas a la rodilla (definitivamente hare esto en otoño). Tambien les cuento que ultimamente he estado obsesionada con zapatos de terciopelo asi que esta no es la unica ves que los veran aca! me he comprado varios para el otoño asi que ya les mostrare 🙂 en fin, diganme si hay algun otro tipo de ocasion que les gustaria ver!
