I have never explained fully the relationship my style has with music. Its something natural that occurs all the time.  My boyfriend being a musician has taught me a lot about music genres and different bands in general and there is not a single day I go without listening to a new band or song that I don’t love or that makes me feel something. I will start incorporating that to this place. This particular outfit post was inspired by one of my favorite bands when I was younger: Camera Obscura. I listened to them when I was a literature student in Peru and found inspiration online. Not only through style blogs but also in music I explored on my own. Music I enjoyed more than the playlists at friends parties I frequented. So the other day we played their vinyl again and I felt quite inspired to put this ensemble together. Vintage collared blouses and denim jackets were one of my most representative outfits back in the days.

Nunca he hablado mucho sobre la relacion que tiene la musica con mi estilo. Es algo natural ya que lo que escucho se plasma en lo que uso. Mi chico es musico y me ha enseñado mucho sobre generos y bandas y no hay un solo dia que pase en el que escuche al menos una nueva banda o cancion que me guste o que me haga sentir algo. Este outfit en particular fue inspirado por uno de mis grupos favoritos cuando era mas chica: Camera Obscura. Solia escucharlos cuando era estudiante de literatura en Peru y escapaba de lo que me rodeaba a traves del internet. No solo blogs de estilo pero tambien me gustaba explorar musica por mi cuenta y tener playlists de bandas que realmente me gustaban, bandas que jamas habria escuchado en la ciudad en la que vivia y en fiestas que mis amigas frecuentaban. Asi que el otro dia que mi chico puso el vinilo de Camera Obscura me provoco usar esto, blusas vintage con collar y casacas de jean era una de las combinaciones mas representativas que solia hacer en aquellos tiempos.
