Interview to Mega B.

How would you describe your style? A trainwreck of juxtaposed trends and styles. One day I’m geek and girly the next I’m all black goth.

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Nihongo! (Japan :D)

What kind of music you like the most? Im not afraid to say I enjoy background tracks of movies. I feel they convey more emotion than ones with words.

Which people have inspired you the most? The Himegyaru girls and Nicole Richie.

Have you ever had any negative experiences from people because of the clothes you wear? Not to my face but a friend did tell me once that her friend said I looked ‘All dressed up’ in a negative tone. I assumed it had negative connotations but then considered what she wore. Board shorts and your typical Roxy shirt with a flannel on top. Over the top for me thanks.

What has been your best experience of fashion blogging so far? Getting that little bit better at photography and html (i know, I suck) 🙂

What are your ambition/dreams for the future? To work in the fashion industry of course! Hopefully successful in the business aspect or owning a successful boutique.

What is your favorite place to shop? Store wise – You can’t go wrong with Sportsgirl. Its semi affordable and always on par with the latest trends. You can also mix your old pieces with the new. City wise, definitely Sydney. Melbourne the shopping capital? Pfft. I would say Tokyo or Osaka but I’ve never been 🙁

What’s your super power? Hahaha. I have been told a few times over my life that I am a binge eater and I should sort that out. I’m still fairly thin so I guess my metabolism?

What item of clothing (if any) do you wish that more of us wore? Heels. Noone wears them in my supposed biggest growing town in Australia. Even in the gold coast girls only wear them to go clubbing.

Favourite quote: Carpe Diem; Seize the day. Although I never follow through with the quote, I often reminiscence at the humor our advance English class had with the quote.

Trend you’re loving right now: Florals.

A phrase you use far too often: Hey! …Is for horses.

How do you spend your spare time? Reading manga or fanfiction or shopping. I really should utilize it better.

What’s in your wardrobe you can’t live without? Apart from intimates I’d have to say a staple black blazer.

What is your typical day?  Extremely boring. Get up at 6, feed the chickens and dogs, get ready for school, attend school, truant for recess to get subway, come back to school, go home, help my dad around the farm with my brothers, go shopping with mum, come home and spend the rest of the night either doing an assignment the night before or read some manga. I’d have the worst reality tv show.
